In order to craft a high quality learning experience, the District utilizes select educational sites and service providers as part of the educational curriculum for students. In accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), this notice is intended to notify you that the below listed sites and services used by the district have been reviewed and found to serve an educational purpose for students in the District. These sites and services may collect, use or disclose student personal information to fulfill the educational purpose. The District has consented to these sites and services collecting, using, and disclosing student personal information limited to purely educational purposes. Any additional purposes require the consent of parents/guardians of minor students. Under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, minor students mean those students under age thirteen. The collection, use and disclosure of student personal information is also subject to all other relevant laws, including but not limited to FERPA, IDEA and PPRA.
